As telehealth continues to evolve within the healthcare industry to meet patient and provider needs, SecureVideo is constantly working to enhance its platform to provide the best possible experience for users. Here are some of the exciting new enhancements that have been recently introduced:
Comprehensive Document Management
We have enhanced our document management feature for better organization and easy retrieval. Now, you can update the participant name for a completed document and easily find them with our new search filter.
Our “Submitted By” column would indicate who completed the form, however there are common scenarios where the patient’s form was completed by a provider. In cases like these, documents can be re-associated with the relevant participant and easily located with the newly added “Associated With” column. This feature allows you to easily tag the participant to the document for quick retrieval, even if another user filled out the document.
Examples of documents commonly completed by the provider on behalf of a patient, that can be effectively managed with this feature include:
Super Bills: receipts that the patient can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimates: A document detailing the expected care and associated costs.
Treatment Plans/Worksheets: Instructions for the patient to follow or aspects for them to monitor, such as their dreams and emotions and how they manage them.
With this feature, documents like these would be significantly more organized and more accessible in the retrieval process.
Reinforced Security Features
As for securing PHI, we’ve introduced a new, optional Risk-Based Authentication feature. This system assesses the risk associated with each login attempt, and if the risk threshold is met, users will receive a notification email detailing the login attempt.
To further secure your account, you will need to enter a code sent via SMS to complete the login process. This feature can be combined with our Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for double-layered protection. To enable this feature, simply contact the SecureVideo Support team, and we’ll take care of it from there.
Miscellaneous Updates
As part of our constant endeavors to enhance user experience, we’ve made a number of subtle yet helpful miscellaneous enhancements that offer greater clarity and platform usability.
- We’ve added a “Learn How” button to our HIPAA Compliant Cloud Recording feature to help users better understand each setting.
- Small adjustments have been made to the Recurrence interface to better convey what can and can’t be edited.
- Based on customer feedback, communication on the MFA code input page has been clarified to indicate that MFA codes will be sent via text message.
- The template name is included when previewing E-Document templates to be explicit in which document a user is editing.
