How Telehealth Cloud Recording Works

Recordings are stored in the SecureVideo account (in the cloud) rather than on the Host’s device. This keeps the recording in a HIPAA-compliant environment rather than placing the burden of security on the end user (provider or session host).

    Session Creation
    The Host or scheduler selects the option to record the session when it is created.

    Scheduling Indicator
    An icon appears on the dashboard indicating automatic recording of the session upon scheduling.

    Participant Notification
    Participants see the recording icon on the Virtual Waiting Room page, indicating that the session will be recorded.

    Automatic Recording
    The session recording begins automatically. The Host can pause or resume the recording at any point.

    Processing
    After a brief waiting period, the video is processed, and the recording is finalized. Providers can opt to receive an email notification when the recording is ready.

    Dashboard Access
    User(s) with appropriate access/permissions may view the recording from the SecureVideo dashboard’s “Recordings” tab.
