HITRUST Risk-Based, 2-year (r2) Certification validates SecureVideo’s commitment to strong cybersecurity and protecting sensitive data.
SecureVideo, a leading provider of HIPAA-compliant telehealth software as a service (SaaS), today announced its SecureVideo Video Platform residing at Amazon Web Services has earned certified status by HITRUST for information security.
HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certification demonstrates that the organization’s SecureVideo Platform has met demanding regulatory compliance and industry-defined requirements and is appropriately managing risk. This achievement places SecureVideo in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification. By including federal and state regulations, standards, and frameworks and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST Assurance Program helps organizations address security and data protection challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.
“This achievement marks the culmination of an incredibly thorough process, demonstrating our commitment to the protection of our users’ data. We are proud to achieve this milestone and honored that our business now stands with others who share our dedication to prioritizing privacy and security,” said Justin Brady, CEO at SecureVideo.
“Without consistency, transparency, and reliability, an information security assessment can’t provide the requisite level of assurances needed to make important business decisions. That’s why we focus on producing the highest quality reports available,” said Vincent Bennekers, Vice President, Quality at HITRUST. “Achievement of a HITRUST r2 Certification is an assurance that SecureVideo takes compliance and information risk management seriously.”
“The journey doesn’t end here,” said Kate Brandis, VP of Operations for SecureVideo. “HITRUST is a framework that evolves with new threats and standards, and our team is committed to evolving alongside it so that our clients are assured of our dedication to their security.”
